Thank you and we’re off!

Firstly, thank you to all those of you (69 bloggers!) who filled in our survey asking you what you want to see at Eat Drink Blog 3. We’re analysing the results now and this information will feed directly into the conference program and format.

We’re now in the midst of planning for Eat Drink Blog 3 (EDB3) now and things are moving quickly.

Our first meeting the other night was attended by EDB3 committee members AlexAmandaErin, Celeste, ChristinaKirsty and Natasha. We got through an enormous amount of information, ate some pretty fine pizza, and have since been working away on our individual tasks.

To help make the organisation of Eat Drink Blog 3 as efficient and productive as possible we’ve decided that Amanda and Christina will be co-chairs of the committee, while Kirsty has kindly offered to be secretary. Thank you for volunteering, Kirsty!

We’ll have more news for you very soon. In the meantime, you can subscribe to receive blog updates at the top right hand corner. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter either.

Eat Drink Blog 3 will be held in Adelaide!

Hello!

We’re back and under new management 🙂

We’re delighted to let you know that the 3rd Australian Food Bloggers Conference – Eat Drink Blog 3 – will be held in Adelaide, South Australia, later this year.

Amanda (Lambs Ears and Honey) and I (The Hungry Australian) are thrilled to be organising Eat Drink Blog 3. We would like to thank the organisers of Eat Drink Blog 2 – Trina (The Gourmet Forager), Jen (Jenius) and Simon (The Heart of Food) – for offering us this opportunity. Guys, we’re honoured to be following in your footsteps.

Over the next few months we’ll be working with a group of local bloggers to deliver Eat Drink Blog 3, a conference that brings food bloggers from all over Australia together to share knowledge, ideas, and skills.

Blogging is often a solitary activity but it doesn’t have to be a lonely one – come along to Eat Drink Blog 3 and make new friends as you learn from some of the best in the industry.

We want you to have a great conference experience so will shortly be conducting a survey to find out what topics and activities you would find most useful.

Until then, happy eating!

Christina for the Eat Drink Blog 3 organising committee
